Take Charge

Our speech and our thoughts guide us more than we may realize. What comes out of our mouths and what is thought within our minds will determine where we find ourselves emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. Just as what we allow to be spoken into our lives will influence the atmosphere around us. In His word, God tells us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. The ending to that verse explains that we shall cast down all words spoken over us as well. So in order to walk in the kingship that God has called us to, we must take authority over what we speak and what we allow to be spoken over us.

We are constantly reminded that we do not war against flesh and blood, but we war against spirits and principalities. So when attacks arise in our marriage, our finances, our health or even our children, it is not the person or the circumstance we are in battle with.

When attacks come, it is the enemy we are at war with.

Our imagination and our beliefs can rob us of the victory in the battle.

When we get so caught up in HOW they spoke to us.

When we find ourselves sleepless over our finances.

When the doctor report could be cancer.

When we allow our minds to over think in every circumstance we begin to fall into a trap that

keeps us from remembering the God we serve.

When we think we know the way.

When we believed a certain way for so long that anything else seems wrong.

When we know what is best in the battle we face.

That is when the battle is lost.

When we get so caught up in our beliefs that God cannot change how He is impacting our lives, that’s when we will be defeated.

We have to always be ready to go where He says to go and how He says to go.

Your tongue and your prayer language are the keys to winning the battle you find yourself in.

Begin to speak to the circumstance and pray the Father’s perfect will be done.

Cast down any anxious thoughts and exaggerations in your mind.

Find yourself at the feet of your Father, knowing that as you do your part, ALL things work for your benefit.

If God be for us, who can be against us?
