I know because you were created in the image of God.

When He formed you, He put every little thing you would ever need within you.

Don’t see it?

It’s there, I promise.

Sure, it takes time for it to grow.

It takes patience to see it through.

It even takes to willingly learn from those who have gone before you.

But it is there.

And do you know what all that potential and purpose does?

It reflects. It leads.

It reflects the father’s heart so that those around you see Him, and not you. It leads those you encounter to the foot of the cross.

Just by being you.

No, you may not always get the credit for what you do. You may never even get acknowledged for it. But as you grow into the very you He created you to be, He sees and He rewards.

Yes, it does take saying no to some things.

But you can say no, He put that ability in you.

After all, you wouldn’t want to put anything in you that covers up what He’s placed in you.

It’ll get hard sometimes.

Really hard.

You may even want to quit.

But it’s through the hard that He’s taking off the things you don’t need. As He does, the things He placed within you are revealed.

You have His name to uphold.

I know, it sounds like a big responsibility. And it truly is, but it’s a big responsibility that He has already given you the tools to accomplish.

You’re running the race, and He knows you can.

So give yourself some credit and finish well!

There’s a world around you that needs the best you that you can be.

You’re only your best you when you are filled with Him.
